Biography
Mathew Yap has over 17 years of experience in the IT industry. He has taken roles giving him a rich set of experiences covering software development and architecture, systems and infrastructure management, software services and support, business development, and training, The combination of the experiences has made him a business-savvy leader capable of managing technical teams of diverse culture and software development projects using diverse technology.
His current focus is in building up a software development organization consisting of scrum teams to bring a desktop virtualization product to market. Not only is he practicing scrum but he has become an active advocate within his company. By using a mix of Kanban and Scrum, he had successfully enabled teams to handle planned and ad-hoc tasks.
