Moira Wilmes has worn many hats in her IT career, starting with her B.s. in Industrial Engineering and a short stint in paper production in Michigan. From there, Moira left the manufacturing world to pursue the excitement of implementing operating room scheduling systems across the US and Canada. Then she project managed third party billing systems at PacBell, created and managed a QA team at PMI Mortgage Insurance co., managed QA and development at Visa and is now managing QA at Aravo. Her love of process has shown through them all, getting heavily involved with the SDLC at each company.
Moira helped the Aravo team implement Agile/Scrum and deliver business value to her customers every two weeks.
Outside of work, Moira loves playing soccer and the tenor sax/bass clarinet. She is also part owner in Casa Majahua - "where we always want to be". http://www.casamajahua.com

I was the first employee to lead the Quality Assurance efforts at Aravo. I started by bringing on a new QA/Testing partner and also implementing the Agile/Scrum process across Product Development in 2009.
* Starting in April 2009, took 3 months to analyze and implement the Agile/Scrum process.
* Aravo went live with the Agile/Scrum process in July 2009. Since then I've acted as a Scrum coach. I've also come off and on various scrum teams in that time in the QA role.
