Title: Founder & Director

My name is Mahendra Liya and I am an experiened ScrumMaster. In my role with Adobe as a Technical Lead I lead the design & implementation of micro-services for a highly visible backend project and played the role of a ScrumMaster for my small distributed team of 6 developers. Following is the highlight of my role:

  • Being technical, I was involved in the key architecture design and Infra setup (Staging & Production AWS)
  • Came up with the Continuous Integration proposal for the APIs and lead the implementation across all services, along with setting up of Jenkins
  • Setting up Coding Guidelines & Conventions and ensuring they're followed within the team
  • Doing code reviews for the services developed by other team members
  • Setting up mandatory Code review for code push on develop and master branch on Git.
  • Maintaining and Overlooking Wiki Documentation
  • Came up with API Logging solution which allows the request & response to be intercepted, rather than having to write the logging code in each API service. Developed the solution using CloudFront and Lambda@Edge

I've been fortunate to have worked with clients ranging from startups, few mid-sized organizations and a couple of high-profile clients during the IT outsourcing business, which I used to do earlier. I can take care of both the business and technical aspect of software development which includes Client Communication, Requirements Gathering & Analysis, Effort Estimations, Milestones & Project Negotiation, Responding to RFPs, Evaluating Designs, Coding, Testing & Documentation along with Deployment & Maintenance.
