Matthias Leitner

Matthias Leitner is a creative director and digital strategist based in munich.

For his journalistic work he was honored with the journalism prize for computer science and the DUH environmental media prize. In 2012, he was voted one of Germany's top 30 to 30 young journalists by the editorial staff of the magazine. "Medium". 

Since 2015 Matthias Leitner is the head of the storytelling lab web : first, at BR Next he developes program innovations like #callforpodcast or #icheisner as project and idea manager. In March 2016, the book "story: now - A Handbook for Digital Storytelling" was written and published by him. In 2017 he was appointed a Fellow by the Federal Cultural and Creative Industries of Germany.
 

Since 2015, I am the head of the storytelling lab story: first, at BR Next I develop program innovations like the #callforpodcast as project and idea manager. In March 2016, the book "story: now - A Handbook for Digital Storytelling" was written and published by me. In 2017, I was appointed a Fellow by the Federal Cultural and Creative Industries.

In 2018, together with philosopher, cultural manager and mountaineer Jens Badura, I founded the think & do tank creativeALPS.
