About
Martin Hoppacher is a Scrum Alliance® Certified Scrum Professional®. Martin is the founder of katteo, an Agile training, coaching and consulting company. He has collected many years of experience in Agile and Lean Software Development in both product and project development environments. Martin started his career as a quality manager in classical waterfall projects but moved from "the dark side" to Scrum about 15 years ago. Since then he intensively deals with Agile and Lean Software Development, management and modern leadership. As a consultant, coach and trainer Martin has worked with numerous clients till date to help them introducing frameworks and methods like Scrum or Kanban, in a spectrum reaching from small to major sized enterprises. He successfully supported to start several transformations from traditional project management to agile organisations, taking the role of a catalyst coach to establish an agile mindset and a continuous and empirical change management. Martin is mainly an Agile practitioner and systems thinker, not only teaching, but also trying to live the underlying principles and practices on his own every day. When not helping one of his clients with their Agile transformation or running a training, he mentors and coaches teams which develop products and services with Scrum or Kanban.
