Miguel Guzman
I have kind of a hybrid profile; I came to the world of Agile and Scrum out of a 7 years process improvement experience as a Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt, having implemented multiple improvement projects in multinational companies. Before that I had worked for some time as a financial controller, amongst other things, creating scorecard and monitoring systems aimed at facilitating the process of right decision taking. And because of that I am pretty much aware that the financial implications are at the core of any decision.
I am not exactly an IT guy except for the fact that long time ago I used to enjoy a lot programming my own games in Basic and I still use VBA in Excel to develop multiple useful applications.
The firm belief in Agile as a promising management framework combined with a deep understanding of systems and processes are an important part of my DNA.
