Luis Sanchez Castellanos

Full-Stack developer with 15+ years of experience, mainly language-agnostic, but in the last years more focused on Javascript.  I am experienced in many technologies around both Front and Back-End, as well as in agile methodologies, in the last few years, I have served as Scrum Master parallelly to my work.

My experience working with cross-functional teams of different sizes has been very enrichment, I have always fit in these teams very productively, providing value at different levels, from giving ideas about how to organize the workflow of the team to a more productive one, leveraging the communication among stakeholders and proposing the use of methodologies like git-flow adapted to the current infrastructure, testing, restructuring of the whole app towards a more concise, maintainable project, etc. having as a result improvements of around a 15% of more speed delivering (according to the Velocity Chart), and a reduction of around a 20% of fewer bugs in the backlog.  As a developer, the experience demonstrated that I can adapt to any kind of problem, language, legacy code, or infrastructure in a reasonable amount of time.

I am currently working at Moody’s in Canary Wharf working as a FullStack developer as a contractor.

In my free time, I work a bit on my pet projects, some web, some IoT in my Raspberry Pi that one day will see the light :-).
