Karthikeyan Thirukonda - I have over 23 years of experience in Information Technology especially in Project Management (Agile and Waterfall) and software development with knowledge on Mid-range, PC applications and IBM Mainframes in fields such as Telecommunications, Banking, Insurance, Pensions, Annuities, Financial, Oil and Petrochemicals. I consider myself an expert in information systems technology, project planning, strategic planning, systems analysis and troubleshooting, quality control, forecasting, project proposals, scheduling and tracking of results. I also possess Project Management experience with Infrastructure projects which includes installation of security/network appliance and it adoption process. I possess strong communication, presentation, analytical and problem solving skills. I am also very knowledgeable on Capability Maturity Model and ISO 9001 processes and can readily apply the concepts to any software development project. I have managed and Lead in almost all types of projects such as development, enhancement, migration/conversion, maintenance and customer care. I have worked through the entire software development life cycle of several different projects using Agile/Scrum and waterfall methodologies. I am highly knowledgeable and skilled in software systems design and development, database design, software requirement analysis, software configuration management, developing test plans and test scripts, conducting unit testing, system testing, integration testing, regression testing, user acceptance testing, software quality assurance, implementation support, warranty support, production support, documentation and users training. I am experienced in coordinating, negotiating and motivating outside vendors and offshore resources in support of time lines and IT project deliverables. I have been effectively training, motivating and mentoring onsite and offshore resources in many of my projects.
