I love working with motivated people in a team. My motto has always been "if you don't ask you won't learn anything".

This approach made Scrum an almost natural addition to my toolset. In 2005, after studying Communication Science, I ended up in a call center at STRATO, a German hosting company. Well, it definitely was not within my comfort zone, but I needed the money. :)

I was there only for a couple of months, when I was invited to try out for a product management vacancy. I took the spot and loved the job: I got to work with developers on interesting and sometimes strange topics. But still in the old "waterfall" way, which always lead to complaints about not delivering on time. One day, the head of one dev-unit asked me whether I would like to be part of a submarine project: developing the next project with Scrum. I was in - and since then I am a fan of Agile. I kept working for STRATO for about 8 years, when I finally decided that I wanted to see and learn what Scrum meant in other companies.

Since I wanted to have a broader insight, I decided to become a consultant for Agile. In 2014, I started at leanovate in Berlin, back then a new and small consultancy for everything Agile. I have been with leanovate since then. During this time I have been Scrum Master, Product Owner, Coach, and Trainer for many different companies - enjoying working with different teams in different circumstances and business areas and learning new things every time.
