I enjoy creating environments where software team members wake up excited about going to work in the morning and see themselves delivering beyond their expectations and those of their customers. I lead, mentor and coach team members to use Agile approaches like Extreme Programming and Scrum, although I draw from a variety of other sources and disciplines. 

I am a highly skilled Program and Project Manager consistently selected by management to implement programs and projects critical to the business. Work with PMOs to create and streamline project frameworks and process. Work with management teams to plan and estimate annual operating initiatives based on company goals. Possess outstanding communication skills, can communicate technical information to non-technical staff and interacts well with co-workers.

Have managed teams implementing a variety of large global IT projects with budgets up to $10 million and 100+ project resources. A creative problem solver, I excel at identifying and implementing innovative solutions.
For 7 years I served as the primary Life Science Research IT Senior Project Manager for Thermo Fisher Scientific with focus being on eCommerce.  Prior to Thermo Fisher Scientific, I spent many years with BEA Systems and PeopleSoft as a Release Program Manager.  The bulk of my 10 years with J.D. Edwards was as a  software developer with additional software release management activities towards the end of my tenor.  

Have worked on many ecommerce related initiatives as well as acquisitions and divestitures during my time with Thermo Fisher Scientific, and currently report to the Senior Director of Digital Technologies Delivery shared services group for eCommerce initiatives. Additionally, I have worked with two incarnations of IT PMOs helping shape project management frameworks and providing guidance on Agile processes.

My most satisfying experience has been serving as a certified project manager and being afforded the autonomy to serve as an Agile Coach as well as lead numerous process improvement activities such as driving the creation of an Agile System Development Lifecycle, an IT Project Roadmap Process, and iterative process flows/project templates/change management procedures.
