Katrin Bretscher
About
Katrin Bretscher has worked with agile methods ever since she got her M.Sc. in Computer Science from ETH Zurich in 2006: She worked as a software engineer in agile teams at Google's Switzerland office, and has seen Scrum implemented in a dozen ways in the jobs she had at other companies. She applied agile principles to her work as a technical writer, working in scrum teams, and eventually became a Scrum Master.
Katrin's true calling is coaching: When she's not out there helping people with Scrum and Agility, she works in her practice as a Sports Mental Coach. In her education in becoming such, she has gained a lot of knowledge and experience working with teams, their leaders, and organizations.
Katrin believes that retrospectives are the best thing that can happen to any team, individual, or organization - no matter their situation. She loves facilitating them and keeping them interesting for everybody involved.
