Jonathan Ives

Jonathan Ives is an Information Systems professional with software development experience across multiple industries including: telecommunications, healthcare, state government and academia. Jonathan is an effective communicator and team builder and is an advocate for applying software development best practices. Jonathan has worked in several small startup companies (Infonautics, Blue Marble Geographics, St. George Consulting/Penbay Media) as well as a large consulting firm (Andersen Consulting/Accenture) and in an academic environment (MIT Information Systems). Jonathan currently works with the State of Maine government where he has supported environmental and health agencies since 2003 (State of Maine) initially as an employee and as o 2011 as an IT Project Mangement consultant.

Jonathan completed the University of New England project management certificate program and received the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute (PMI) in January of 2008. Jonathan then received Scrum Master training from Scrum co-founder Jeff Sutherland and became a Certified Scrum Master (CSM) with the Scrum Alliance in November 2010.
