About
Jonn Farr is the Head of Engineering in a UK based software company. Jonn has managed multiple development teams in Europe, USA, Australia, India and Kuala Lumpur.
Jonn has a long history in managing and implementing scrum within development teams. Jonn has implemented Scrum in several development teams and has presented to stakeholders the value of a mature Scrum team. Jonn became a Certified ScrumMaster in December 2012 and has been an active ScrumMaster since then. As part of the development of his management and leadership skills Jonn acheived the Institute of Leadership and Management's (ILM) level 3 certificate in Leadership and Management.
Jonn has attended several courses relating to his role as ScrumMaster including Advanced ScrumMaster training. In January 2015, following the loss of the Product Owner from the company he was with at the time, Jonn attended a Scrum Product Owner course in January 2015 so that he could become a Certified Scrum Product Owner in order to fill the void left by the loss of the previous Product Owner.
Jonn also holds the scrum.org certifications Professional Scrum Master and Professional Agile Leadership.
Jonn is the organiser of a local Meetup group and regularly meets and talks with other developers and development managers. He is a keen developer and has run his own business WebMe since 2000.
