Janos Farkas

Jan Farkas is one of the few agile experts with hands-on experience in both software and hardware technology development. He spent more than 20 years in a wide variety of highly innovative projects in hardware engineering, software development and research. He worked in corporate, startup and government environments.

Jan is the co-founder of Halkeon Agile Consulting, a specialized consulting firm focused on innovation and agility. He is active in Central Europe, including (but not limited to) Switzerland, Germany, Austria, Hungary and Slovakia.

Jan holds master’s degrees in physics and computer science and a doctoral degree in nuclear astrophysics. His background in science and engineering (especially in self-organized complex systems) helps him to convey the message of Agile and Scrum to his clients from the developer to the executive level.

He speaks English, German and Hungarian, and lives with his family in Gyor, Hungary.
