About

I am a forward-thinking strategist with a proven history of delivering organizational growth by building and leading high-functioning teams and implementing cutting-edge technological improvements. I pride myself on developing highly capable, independent teams, bridging the communications gap between business and technical team members, and building an aspirational vision of the tech landscape we're working to deliver.

As the Senior Director of Client APIs and Platforms at Visa, I am responsible for leading teams building and selling data APIs as well as envisioning and creating a platform to increase efficiency and reduce time-to-market for data APIs and applications. Previously, I was a Director of Product Management at Airlines Reporting Corp., where I led a team managing a portfolio of products supporting financial settlement of over $88B in annual sales transactions. Prior to that, I worked with Amtrak in a variety of Product Management roles including supporting the creation of a next-generation distribution platform, the development of mobile technology, and the implementation of new systems to support onboard sales.

My projects have included

  • acting as an product owner and product manager for a next-generation customer-centric, omni-channel distribution platform
  • developing and documenting information architecture for new systems and for the integration of new systems with existing infrastructure
  • designing business processes for the implementation of new technologies
  • developing and documenting business and functional requirements for legacy systems (e.g., computer reservation systems) as well as new systems (e.g., web-based e-commerce solutions, onboard point-of-sale systems)
  • creating and responding to RFPs as well as evaluating responses to RFPs
  • implementing software development methodologies
  • determining requirements for and implementing web analytics (WebTrends) and system monitoring (SiteScope)
  • evaluating and recommending COTS requirements management and product roadmapping tools

I hold a Bachelor of Science in Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering from Purdue University as well as a Master of Science in Industrial Administration from Purdue University's Krannert School of Management..
