Hermes Ojeda Ruiz

I've worked with computers since I was twelve years old. I love to solve problems using software and technology stuff. 

When I started my software career, I focused on software development and system administration. But all the processes looked to me like they were full of useless steps, but most of the people said that was the only way to do it. During this period I heard about Agile techniques like Scrum, and this was a great revelation because it showed me another way to make software and manage projects, focusing on the things that I think are the most important.

In 2011 some friends and I started LogicalBricks, a company focused on web applications development using agile techniques. Daily we're trying to improve our team, process and product-related skills. As a company we started a community of developers focusing on learning XP techniques and the Ruby Programming Language, and we suppport most of the Agile events in our state and country.

Since then I've been working in companies that uses Scrum in their day to day, and in some of them I supported them with my experience to improve their Scrum practices
