Henk Jan has over 10 years of experience in IT in various roles like development, requirements engineering, system architecture and project management.
For the last 6 years he is coaching teams to achieve all the advantages of an agile process.
He has worked with relative small product development companies and even big ones that offers range of products and services. Henk Jan has coached both collocated teams in the Netherlands and distributed scrum teams in East of Europe and India. Based on his broad experiences he can help the developers with their engineering practices and coach scrum masters in organizational change. Next to that he educates the product owners on optimizing return on investment and guides managers on the rocky transformation path to agile development.
After doing the first Scrum implementation in 2006 Henk Jan started training teams on Scrum and agile practices. As a consultant at iSense Prowareness he is helping organizations to make the transition to an agile way of working. He personally believes that successful software development starts with good collaboration between business and IT people.
