Heather Baird has been working in Project Management in the IT&T industry for around 8 years, the last 3 years as an Agile Product Owner. She was integrally involved in the adoption of the Agile Scrum process by CallPlus’s Networks department, which has led to improved productivity, certainty of outcome and transparency to the wider business. It has also improved the work satisfaction of the engineers and their ability to concentrate on their core competencies.
Prior to her involvement in project management, she has filled varied roles in CallPlus and Telecom in line management and technical provisioning.
Heather has an interest in making Agile work for scrums made up of diverse specialised skill sets, and in fitting Agile practices into overall project governance systems.
