For over three years, I have acted as an Agile Evangelist at Bayer. Firstly by practicing it, and closely second by preaching it. The Scrum Role of Product Owner is the place that I have found my talents and personality are most optimised. It's a role that I live and breathe, in and outside of work.
At Bayer I have sought to form high performing Scrum Teams in the iterative delivery of digital Products. It's now become a custom for me to deliver an MVP and a first iteration, only to be pulled off that Product, in order to deliver an even more business critical Product.
I've gone from delivering websites as Products, to complex web applications as Products, to Enterprise Architectures as Products (in Scaled Scrum). Working in an organisation that is traditionally Waterfall, my Products are now models for success in our organisational effort to change to Business Agility. And it's a real pleasure to be at the centre of that.
