About
My name is Eduardo Ribeiro, and I’m from a small and beautiful ocean-side country on the west coast of Europe called Portugal.
Passionate about researching innovative ways of working and enhancing existing methods and practices, I aim to drive Agile, digital transformation, and organizational maturity, thereby increasing the value delivered. I aim to empower individuals, teams, and entire organizations to embrace continuous improvement, fostering a culture of experimentation, automation and adaptability.
With over 25 years in technology, I started in software development but shifted to Agile early on, drawn by its transformative potential. My varied roles have given me deep insight into different organizational functions, especially in software development.
Currently serving as the Agile Coach at Critical Software, my focus is on maintaining strict quality standards while driving ways of working optimization and continuous improvement. I am the author of the “Beyond Lean Agile” blog, and I am pursuing a PhD in Informatics Engineering at FEUP, focusing on the application of Agile methods to enhance software development in safety-critical domains, with a particular emphasis on the aerospace sector.
