Eric Liew

Hands on scrum master in variety of industries and wide spread of experience. I bring to any project maturity and positive attitude. Besides leading process, I believe in leading by example and I like working on all aspects of software development and can communicate effectively with the technical team, product managers and management alike.

Currently I work as a Solution Delivery Lead and Scrum master at Lend Lease. Being an enterprise organisation, there are signifcant challenges adopting Agile development in a process oriented organisation. I been championing agile development using scrum within our division, conducting brown bag sessions, video training on Scrum. On a project level, I have been leading projects and teams using Scrum. Achievements Implemented the use of Microsoft TFS 2013 work item management as the standard information radiator within Lend Lease Part of the agile practice within Lend Lease to standardise consistent agile practice across projects. Participtating in a scrum of scrum fortnightly to ensure knowledge sharing and team colloboration. I am heavily involved in Sprint retrospectives, showcases, Sprint planning, Backlog priorisation, Daily standups.

Catch, Development Manager/Scrum Master

My role at Catch was a hands on scrum master and development managerial role. Catch brought in an Agile coach and I was responsible on working with him to implement Agile practices through my team. As part of our adoption of Scrum, we had to take the journey to move from waterfall development to product based development. As part of that I implemented interation planning, leading the daily standups, helping the product owners formulate the user stories and backlog items, determining with the product owners and project management office the status and priorities of the product backup to determine the roadmap of development. I coached the development team in planning the sprint and task decomposition and conducting the sprint retrospectives and review.
