I have been the Scrum Master at Crate&Barrel since 2016 and really enjoy it. Every day is a new and interesting problem to solve. There is never a dull moment when being a Scrum Master. Solving conflicts, removing obstacles from the team's path to reach their goal, or guiding them along the way is exciting and rewarding.
A Scrum Master really needs to be that neutral voice within all the madness of a Sprint. I am a middle child and I always had to run interference and help find that common ground everyone can agree to. Guess it's in my blood.
In my 22 years at Crate and Barrel I have enjoyed many opportunities in various areas of the business. These opportunities have given me a firm understanding of the new technologies we implement and support. In that time I have grown in my knowledge and experience as Crate grew with advances in the technology used.
