Eli Katz

Eli Katz is Chief Technologist and CTO, Cloud Services for Forsythe Technology. He also  leads the cloud management and orchestration practice at Synnefo, a Forsythe company, where he heads a team of technology professionals and enterprise architects designing, developing and implementing complex cloud management and orchestration solutions from conception to completion. Recognized as a Forsythe Distinguished Engineer, he has presented at VMworld, Red Hat North American Partner Summit and regularly publishes in Forsythe's FOCUS magazine. With 20+ years of experience in IT, he champions the importance of creativity, visual communications and clear, consistent messaging to drive adoption both deep and wide across all lines of business to ensure shared success and a thriving ecosystem. 

He is a certified scrum master, Agile Coach, enterprise architect and soon to be Certified Scrum Professional. and led the architect, developer and implementation teams that created the cloud management and orchestration stack for a leading provider of converged infrastructure. He currently acts as Trusted Advisor and Innovation Champion for VMware, Red Hat and Forsythe Solutions Group. 

Before Forsythe/Synnefo, he was the Senior Systems Administrator at Accertify, a subsidiary of American Express and leading provider of fraud prevention, chargeback management, and payment gateway solutions. He has also held positions as Senior Datacenter Engineer for a premium managed hosting company and Team Lead for a Tier I backbone provider. He has earned his Master of Fine Arts degree in Design and Technology from Parsons School of Design and his  Bachelors of Fine Arts in Theatrical Design and  Production from New York University's Tisch School of the Arts.
