Christian Zander is an agile coach and trainer (CST®). He was born near Cologne, adopting its open-minded way of welcoming friends and strangers alike. Christian moved several times in Germany, first following his passion, nature and mountain biking, and then following his heart. He now is back near Cologne with his family.
After receiving his diploma in Communications Engineering at the University of Applied Sciences Cologne, Christian started working as an IT system engineer at Bayer Business Services in Leverkusen. He always embraced its very inspiring, innovative, and collaborative culture.
Christian loves to be self-directed and purpose-driven and values trust, integrity, and honesty most. He finally combined all these aspects with collaborative work, product innovation, and team development by starting zandercoach in 2009 with focus on coaching individuals, teams, and organizations to become more self-aware and agile.
He helps teams finding their own best ways of self-organized collaboration as a Certified Scrum Professional - Scrum Master®. He also helps Product Owners finding their own best strategies for successful product development as a Certified Scrum Professional - Product Owner®. As a Certified Scrum Trainer®, he conducts workshops and trainings for Scrum Masters and Product Owners both for in-house internal professional development, and public certification trainings.
