INTRODUCTION

Chien-Chang Chen (David), a born entrepreneur with servant leadership. He spent one-third of his life in the States and relocated to his hometown - Taipei City, Taiwan in 2018. That's when he noticed that in Taiwan the majority of people he had encountered with were not familiar with or not even heard of "agile". He joined one of the top tier consulting firm in Taipei as digital transformation consultant and he's shocked to see how all the projects were planned and delivered in waterfall, and he was the only person who had previous experience with agile in the entire organization. He had conducted internal agile training to multiple departments and received positive feedback from senior management who participated. Those were what we called - the change agents; organizations have to to cultivate great change agents in order to enable any level of transformation. AGILE IN EDUCATION & GLOBAL COLLABORATION

David serves as Executive Board Member and Head of Global Partnership at Boston University Agile Innovation Lab to help promoting agile in education and leadership as well as bringing knowledge and education to people of all experience levels. He dedicates a large portion of time to establish partnerships by connecting the dots with passionate agilists, agile organizations, and higher education institutions across the globe. He also serves as Advisory Board Member at Boston University Project Management Program. Since 2020, David has been invited as guest speaker to share knowledge and insights to graduate students at Georgetown University Project Management Program. In 2022, partnering with Tunghai University and L-EAF.org, together we initiated the first educational agility transformation in Taiwan. Lately, David officially stepped into academia by bringing Agile education to credit courses at multiple universities in Taiwan, including Tunghai University (College of Social Sciences), Feng Chia University (College of Information Engineering), and Chinese Culture University (College of Business).

EXPERT IN AGILE CERTIFICATION

David has high level of familiarity in agile certification systems, he was trained under great trainers from major players in the field: Scrum Alliance, Scrum.org, Scrum Inc., Kanban University, Scaled Agile, Inc., The LeSS Company, Agile Business Institute, etc. He holds more than 30 certifications in the field, including trainer credentials from Lean Agile Institute and SCRUMstudy.

EDUCATION BACKGROUND

David holds a Bachelor's degree (B.A.B.A.) in Finance from California State University-Fullerton, a Master's degree (M.S.) in Project Management & Applied Business Analytics from Boston University, and a Master's degree (M.B.A.) in General Management from Quantic School of Business and Technology. He's currently pursuing a Doctoral degree (Ed.D.) in Chief Learning Officer from University of Pennsylvania, a joint program by Graduate School of Education and The Wharton School of Business. He's a member of Golden Key International Honour Society and a fellow of American Academy of Project Management.

Other than degree programs, he's completed the professional & executive education programs from Massachusetts Institute of Technology, University of Pennsylvania, University of Maryland College Park, Tsinghua University, Taiwan AI Academy, and Taiwan Academy of Banking and Finance.

By the way, David loves martial arts. He holds 1st degree black belt accreditated by Kukkiwon, the World Taekwondo Headquarters.
