I love products. The amazing things that they allow people to do, to become, and to somehow improve their lives. Seeing a new idea through the creation process and then to see a customer happily using it is the best part of being a Product Owner. Seeing a team confident and fulfilled knowing that their work is the reason behind that achievement is very powerful. In no small part, products make the world a better place.   

Since 2006 I have been learning better ways to help teams build products using agile and lean methods and principles. First with a quality focus and since 2011 as a Product Owner, Product Manager, and coach. I care deeply about helping individuals, teams, and organizations achieve better outcomes by creating products that make everyone involved awesome. I have enjoyed working with small teams of 4, large programs of 6-8 teams with 100+ people, and many variations in between.

Over the past several years I have enjoyed teaching others more about Product Ownership. Watching teams grow and sharing what I have learned about how to do the job better gives me joy. My goal in working with Product Owners is to help them achieve better outcomes, obtain a deeper understanding of the role, and to keep improving. I enjoy helping agile teams to be more effective and deliver great customer value.
