Bogdan Teleuca

Bogdan is recognized for his experience in risk management, financial markets, information management and technology. He has a diverse experience within banking, insurance and funds industry in particular.

His missions were focused around credit risk, economic and regulatory capital, market risk, portfolio management and asset pricing. He has consulted for financial institutions in Belgium, Switzerland and Hong Kong. Previously he acted as a Financial Expert in asset management for several banks in Central and Eastern Europe.

Bogdan is also responsible for the Data Governance competence centre in the Brussels office. Apart from the functional knowledge he had to deal with: data quality, data modelling, data dictionaries and business glossaries, building business cases, process management, training and communication.

Since 2010, he is a member of the Professional Risk Managers’ International Association Brussels steering committee. Bogdan has organized several events for the risk management community, including C-Level profiles and renowned academics.

Bogdan holds the Financial Risk Manager certification from GARP (Global Association of Risk Professionals) since 2009. Committed to high standards in Project Management, Bogdan is also Prince II Practitioner certified.

With a strong interest in new technologies, neuroscience and machine learning, Bogdan is currently studying part-time towards a Master in Artificial Intelligence at KU Leuven. He holds a Master in Financial Risk Management from FUSL, Brussels and Bachelor in Management Accounting and Business Information Systems from the Academy of Economic Sciences in Bucharest.
