Bart OSTE

Bart Oste is an enthusiastic, motivating and communicative agilist with a constant drive to look for ways to improve the world around him.

He started his career in the embedded development world as a software engineer in the Telecom sector. After a couple of years he became team and project leader where he gained experience in managing software projects and coaching people.

He was introduced to Scrum in 2010 and that is when his passion for Agile started. He took up the product owner role, defined the Agile transition strategy for the whole R&D department and became an internal coach for scrum masters, other product owners and the business department. 

From 2013 onwards he decided to focus on coaching and training other organisations by joining iLean as an Agile consultant.  Since then Bart coaches organisations to get the best out of teams by adopting Scrum and Agile best practices.  He helps teams to self-organise, to increase their cooperation and communication and he guides organisations on their Agile journey.   Happy customers until now are Sony, ING, KULeuven, OTN systems and VRT.

Besides the coaching activities, Bart enjoys regularly to facilitate trainings and to speak at evening sessions about agile topics.
