Anthony Moor

Anthony Moor is a Director of Product Management at Yahoo in Sunnyvale, California, where he defines and delivers digital services and experiences that allow brand and media partners to scale and grow their businesses.

Previously, he was Director of Editorial Operations, focusing on strategy, media operations and new product experiences.

Moor came to Yahoo to build out the company's local news presence, as Managing Editor, where his team launched comprehensive Yahoo local news and information experiences for hundreds of U.S. neighborhoods and cities.

Moor directed digital newspaper properties in Dallas, Orlando and Rochester prior to Yahoo, and spent the first part of his career as a television reporter -- much of it at KRON-TV in San Francisco during the first dot-com boom.

Mr. Moor has served on the board of the Online News Association where he directed the Online Journalism Awards and was a director of ASNE, the American Society of News Editors.  He holds a degree in Astrophysics and American Civilization from Williams College. And he's been on Oprah -- although not for any professional reason!
