About
Ann Larsen
I have been working in scrum agile projects since 2012. The Danish Business Authority was in the progress of a major modernisation of their legacy systems beginning in 2008. The agile development method was chosen to be the best way to insure that the criterias was meet to the correct time, cost and scope. Due to my background working with the main legacy registration system and indepth knowledge of customer conduct and workprocesses I was involved in the project aimed at replacing the legacy registration system with a new online registration system. Soon after the project started I was chosen to be the projects Product Owner. The project was long and complex, but it succesfully lanched in Spring 2015. The project used the Kanban method due to its long duration. My main tasks was to write user stories, clarify any questions and prioritize them in the backlog so that the developers always knew what to do.
During the project I took three courses aimed at agile development:
- In 2014: Agile Product Owner 360 - the full perspective
- In 2015: Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO)
- In 2015: Certified ScrumMaster (CSM)
I have been involved in several other agile projects since 2015, where I have used my skills as both a Product Owner and ScrumMaster, but my main focus is insure that the project team delivers the products at the right time and quality.
I enjoy the dynamic interactions in the agile development teams, where people come together to solve a problem in the best way possible.
