About
Ahmed S. Husain is an Agile project management professional and senior management consultant specialized in technology and focused on delivering value to clients earlier and more often through the implementation of Agile values and principles. Over the course of his consulting career, he has supported the Commercial and Federal sectors, including Fortune 50 clients as well as one-third of the Executive Departments under the Office of the President, respectively. Federal clients have included the Social Security Administration, Department of Housing and Urban Development, Department of Health and Human Services, Department of Treasury, Department of Homeland Security, and the Department of Defense.
The clients whom Ahmed has supported over his career range from unionized and Federal labor to high-tech and virtual deliveries across geographically distributed teams. In addition to the types of clients he has supported, Ahmed’s journey has taken him from a classically trained Java and MEAN stack Developer from Johns Hopkins to a Management Consultant at Deloitte with a depth of experience in strategy and business processes, human capital management, and technology. This wide breadth of experience supporting clients from a Development Team member to an Agile Coach uniquely positions him among his peers.
Ahmed is currently supporting an independent Federal agency in Baltimore, MD establish eminence in Agile through the development and cultivation of the agency’s Agile Center of Excellence. He delivers executive-level Agile consultations, agency-wide Agile team trainings, agency brown bags proselytizing the Agile manifesto, and speaks at client symposiums helping the agency realize value through building more efficient teams and aiding in the expansion of the Agile mindset: Plan, Do, Check, Act, and Repeat.
