Arun Prasath Gopalakrishnan

Arun Prasath Gopalakrishnan is a self-confident, conscientious, competent, seasoned and accomplished leader with 12.5 years of Information Technology experience which includes 5 years of solid waterfall project management and 5+ years of Scrum Master/ Agile Leader / SAFe Release Train Engineer experience managing multidisciplinary, multi-year complex initiatives directing and stewarding global teams in onshore / offshore model for top Banking and Financial services clients. Servant leader, a follower of core protocols, proponent of generative culture with experience in creating high performing autonomous teams and with exceptional soft skills required to communicate with technology / non technology stakeholders.

I started my career with Cognizant in the software industry more than a decade ago and has played variety of roles within software industry - developer, technical lead, onshore technical lead, business systems analyst, waterfall project manager, program manager, Scrum master, Scaled Agile Release train engineer.  I am very fortunate to be part of a portfolio which decided to transform their delivery model from waterfall to agile and got an opportunity to pilot every aspect of transformation. Starting from defining cadences for the first Sprint on day 1 till to a point where an agile team analyzed, built and deployed a micro service in cloud within a Sprint. Fortunate to experience all the challenges an organization go through in the transformation and continuously improving the situation at hand for the team and at the same time building agile mindset. I am practicing Agile / Scrum since 2012.

Outside of work Arun is interested in learning micro and macro economics, following world events, politics, spending tiem with family.
