About
Arjan de Jong is a Dutchman living in Vienna. Through his children & wife (who put the methods of Pikler, Montessori and Juul on his path) and his work (transition from waterfall to Scrum) he learned to appreciate the value of autonomy and inspect & adapt.
He has worked as a Development Team member, and the step to Scrum Master felt natural. As a Scrum Master, Arjan helped his team to focus on attainable improvement and tried to protect his team from others by coaching the 'outside world' as well as the team.
After moving back to the waterfall world for a short period of time, he is now convinced that there is no turning back for him.
As an agile coach he now helps teams and organisations introducing agile methods like Scrum. Practicing and living agile are the main tools of his trade, and being a trained Solution Focused coach helps.
Arjan attends Scrum Gatherings and shares experiences with other practitioners to come across new ideas and techniques to use in his work.
