I didn't know what scrum was and came to learn. I don't think this course did a good job of explaining the process to me and answering the questions I had. In particular, I couldn't get a clear picture of how the parts of the process related to each other. But fortunately one of the other people at my table had previous experience with scrum, and I got way more out of a couple of 10-minute discussions with him than I got out of the two days of this course.I did learn some things from the training, but overall I feel that it was a very inefficient way to learn those things.One particular example: On the second day we did an exercise that was supposed to give us experience practicing the scrum process. The goal of the exercise was to create a game. My team started to try to follow the scrum process, but the 10-minute sprints were way too short to figure out how to do it, and we were pressured to have presentable results. So in order to get anything done we abandoned scrum after 5 minutes and just spent an hour making a dumb game. The facilitators spent no effort on helping us practice the scrum process or asking us how our scrum was going—they were entirely focused on making distractions and adding unnecessary pressure (

I loved being able to be interactive even though the training was virtual.
