All CSM courses are taught by Certified Scrum Trainers. Taking a CSM course, passing the CSM test, and accepting the license agreement designates you as a Certified ScrumMaster, which indicates that you have been introduced to and understand the basic concepts you need to perform as a ScrumMaster or team member on a Scrum team. This course also satisfies two elements of the CSD track: Scrum Introduction and Elective.
ABOUT THE COURSEThis two-day ScrumMaster Certification course will provide a comprehensive in-depth training in Scrum theory and practice, taught by two Scrum Alliance Certified Scrum Trainers. The course will cover a range of topics:
ABOUT THE CERTIFICATIONAll attendees who complete the course will become Certified ScrumMasters (CSMs), and will be listed on the Scrum Alliance website's CSM registry. As Certified ScrumMasters, they will also receive an individual license, Scrum training materials, and Scrum templates, and they will have access to the Scrum Alliance website's ScrumMaster restricted areas. Attendees who are Project Management Institute PMP's are eligible for 14 Professional Development Units.
ABOUT THE INSTRUCTORS
Pete Deemer is a Certified Scrum Trainer offering courses in India and Asia through GoodAgile. Pete co-leads Yahoo!’s large-scale corporate adoption of Scrum, which now encompasses more than 80 project teams and 800 employees in the US, India, Europe, and Asia. He is co-author of The Scrum Primer (www.scrumprimer.com).
Bas Vodde is originally from Holland, however has lived in China, Finland and is currently again living in China. In the 90s he worked as a developer in Holland and felt a mismatch between what he experienced as working and between "what the official literature said you should do". That was solved with the introduction of Extreme Programming and evenmore so, with Agile Development in general.
