Tim McLaren

I'm a Principal Consultant with Korva Consulting Ltd and a former tenured faculty member of the Ted Rogers School of Management at Ryerson University. My core focus is helping businesses improve processes using skills I have gained from over 15 years of project experience working with large clients and consulting firms in the manufacturing, retail, government, and financial services sectors. I have a deep understanding of sales, purchasing, inventory, and accounting processes as well as enterprise (ERP) systems from vendors such as SAP, Oracle, and Microsoft. I've delivered many courses and workshops on performance measurement, process improvement, managing information systems, IT project management, and Six Sigma for BComm and MBA students as well as professional organizations such as the Supply Chain Management Association of Canada. I am a Certified ScrumMaster® and am currently exploring how to use agile project management (Scrum) and Six Sigma techniques to help make process improvement projects faster, more visible, more effective, and more fun.
