Suppliercentral 10x is a product developed for vendor Management in Enterprises. The product
Development followed SCRUM methodologies where the scope was completed in various iterations and requirements were changed several times based on the features already implemented and customer feedback. A philosophy of daily interaction with business and having information radiators and daily stand-up meetings was rigorously implemented to make corrections and prioritize features to be implemented on a daily basis. As features were implemented and used by customers, additional modifications were proposed which were then implemented with minimal emphasis on documentation and most importance being given to completing a working product at earliest to allow learning from implementation and real usage by customers. Sprint Review meetings which were held at the end of each sprint involving all the stakeholders to demonstrate the sprint progress. Ensured that Retrospectives were held prior to the start of the next sprint where in team discussed three important factors viz., what went well, what should start and what should stop. Three action items (one from each of the groups) was identified and taken up for implementation in upcoming sprint. Brought in a process to conduct a release satisfaction survey at the end of each release to measure the value of features to the customers as well as end users at customer’s place. The feedback collected is routed to product backlog which was groomed as appropriate.
