Ryan Chichirico

Ryan Chichirico is the Director of Engineering - Client Technologies for SolidFire, Inc and is responsible for operating and leading: innovative web projects, OpenStack/CloudStack teams and hypervisor integrations. Ryan leads a talented engineering team with experience in Python, Scala, JavaScript, and Java. 

Ryan brings over 13 years of technical expertise and leadership in web, mobile, and multimedia working in both small and large organizations. Prior to SolidFire, Ryan has built technology solutions and led engineering teams with companies including: MobileCause Inc, Buzzwire, McKesson, and Openwave. Ryan holds a BS in Computer Science from Colorado State University.

While balancing his busy schedule, Ryan volunteers at the Dandy-Walker Alliance (www.dandy-walker.org) and is the Director of Technology.  In this role Ryan is responsible for developing and maintaining the web site and products that help raise awareness for Dandy-Walker Syndrome.  When not working in the technology stack Ryan consistently searches for ways to fundraise and be a leading advocate for patients with DWS.

In his spare time Ryan enjoys skiing, biking, and enjoying life outdoors with his family in beautiful Colorado.
