About
Paul Dinmore
I took my CSM way back in 2010 and since then i have strived to use the principles that Jeff Sutherland and Gabrielle Benefield were talking about in everything i do (yes, including my children’s homework and chores!) Since 2010 i have seen the use of Scrum grow in the software industry at a truly remarkable rate so much so that waterfall has become a dirty word!
I have been lucky enough to work in larger companies that are just starting on their Agile journey and have had the opportunity to contribute to the direction that has been taken and to coach new joiners that previously had no exposure to Scrum or Agile.
These lasty 4 years have not been without their challenges. Embedding a new way of working into an organisation is fraught with pitfalls and i am sure that we could have avoided some of them, that said, everyone one of these mistakes has been a learning point and we have improved because of them
