Guenther Starecek
I have spent my career in many industries: Manufacturing, Supply Chain Management, Public, Telecommunication, Retail, Banking and Insurance. I have enjoyed the opportunity to work with both large and small organizations, yet the majority of my professional life has been spent building and helping to lead larger sized organizations.
I have especially enjoyed building technical capability teams and shaping the portfolio and the delivery capability behind. I am a technical leader and am willing to make decisions. I also consult decision makers in large sized enterprises. I have a great deal of personal fulfillment from building teams, processes and products and seeing the results of these efforts used by customers and on our own.
I am passionate of the parallelism between work and my experience from team sports and I extremely enjoy spreading the enthusiasm to the team in jointly creating a product and getting things done. It is amazing that even in less good times team spirit and joint team effort generate a very special proudness at the point in time when the project gets back to track.
I am a hands on person who believes that true leaders inspire team members by living the example. Becoming a subject matter expert is essential to creating and maintaining a qualified work force.
