Geoffrey Hoo

I began my career as a Java developer at Octopus Cards Limited, a leading smart card company in Hong Kong, where I worked from 2004 to 2022. As part of the international team, I contributed to the development of back-office systems for national transport ticketing solutions in several countries, including the Netherlands, Dubai, and Auckland.

In 2011, I joined a newly established mobile app team tasked with exploring opportunities in the mobile space. I played a key role in developing the company's first mobile app, focusing on backend systems and architecture. Over time, my responsibilities expanded, and I transitioned from a developer role to project manager, a position I held until 2022.

I am currently a Product Manager at Bluewater Control, a Sydney-based company specializing in Telecom Expense Management (TEM) solutions. My role involves defining product requirements and helping shape the company’s core TEM platform.

I am based in Melbourne, Australia.
