Eban Tomlinson

I am a software professional. I contribute value to wherever I work by coaching, facilitating, personality, and common sense. I brand myself as an agilist first, development manager second, and product manager third. I am what you call cross functional in all the areas of software development that don’t include writing code, though I can do that in a pinch. My specialties lie in people and product management.

My brand is to drive for positive change through radical honesty supported by my rapid social integration into any environment and my analytic mindset. I always focus on working with people as peers so that they're part of a team rather than managed. I enable their growth through removing cognitive bias and cognitive blocks. Using an iterative approach can allow anyone to become amazing. I enable that.

I got here via a Computer Science degree with an unofficial minor in psychology. I have invested over 10 years of experience in the software industry. 

What I like to do is to help companies navigate the transition from a startup through to a company at scale. All the while maintaining the culture, agility, and attitude that makes startups appealing.

I want to work where I can help to deliver value to stakeholders. I won’t take on a role unless I can add value, and as soon as I stop adding that I’ll excuse myself. Expect me to prove the value I add in an agreed upon format.
