Biography

Cherie Silas is a sold out scrum enthusiast who gets her greatest pleasure in seeing the "light bulb" go off when people come to a place of understanding and embrace scrum.  After following SDLC project management for over 10 years and saying, "This just doesn't make sense to do it this way," Cherie took a contract working in a scrum shop and suddenly the world of project management made sense.  She's been in love with scrum and teaching others ever sense.Cherie thrives on continuous learning and sharing everything she knows with others.  She is a certified Scrum Master, a Certified Scrum Professional, and does consulting as a Scrum Coach and Scrum Trainer professionally.  She leads a user group in the southern area of Dallas, TX that is focused on servant leadership and providing free scrum training and mentoring in the community to both IT professionals and others outside of the IT world.
