Curtis Beattie

My name is Curtis Beattie. I am passionate about software excellence. To me software excellence means delivering value, rapidly and of superior quality. I believe Agile methodologies, in particular Scrum, are a foundational component to achieving software excellence. I believe a key component to software excellence is developer testing primarily in the form of test-driven development. I strive to be defined as a craftsman in the trade of software development, not being defined by a single technology but being proficient in all leading edge technologies while simultaneously having the wisdom to apply the right tool for the job. I highly value inter-personal communication and collaboration and believe that all members of the team can provide value at all levels of the software delivery process. I enjoy coaching, teaching and training and love to see fellow colleagues succeed. I believe in having a positive attitude and an affirming disposition.
