Learn about purchasing for teams

Raised in Seattle, WA and San Diego, CA I excelled in academics and sports, often being asked to represent my teams on and off the field. I then had the wonderful opportunity to attend Brigham Young University where I traveled the world for service and study. For two years I volunteered in the Fiji Islands. I lived all over, on different islands, was able to learn several dialects and even transfer and spend my last 3 months in another country, Vanuatu, training volunteers and working with the people. What an appreciation I gained for the peoples of the world.
Afterward, I hadn’t had enough, so I traveled to Vienna Austria to study European political science and German. My time there was so wonderful and productive, my professor invited me back to work with him at the Osterreichischer Integrationsfonds—a branch of the European Union managing funds for integrating immigrants into European societies. A few months before graduating from Brigham Young, I met my wife, Lora. I won a spot on the team at Novell, where I currently am a product manager on the ZENworks endpoint management product line.
Specifically, I own the ZENworks Mobile and Patch Management products. I have learned so much from the people, management, and culture at Novell. I strive to continue learning and applying what I learn to whatever task is at hand.
My plan is to use all that I have learned to spread the wealth of knowledge and opportunity I have been blessed with to the people I have spent so much time and energy with in other capacities—and help them to know similar opportunity for health, education, and success.
