Working in software development teams keeps me going everyday. I've been working in international projects my whole career, and I do love every bit of it, from the initial setup and first conversations with the client for a new promising product, till the continuous releasing and steady pace of mature projects.

Best of my experience is the possibility of getting to know different mindsets, taking the best out of each situation and growing up as an engineer and as a professional.

I think agile methodologies are great support to get to the best results in this context, specially the habit of reviewing your work frequently, in order to improve the team's work agreements. This idea of continuous improvement has also motivated my recent interest in Lean Thinking.

I get an extra motivation in applying ICT solutions to improve everyone's experience in their daily personal and professional routine. Following this trend, I am working towards my PhD, being part of a multidisciplinary research group, focused on Computer Supported Collaborative Learning. Specifically, I am interested in ePortfolio and how technology may help teachers, students and institutions to take advantage of its use in Distributed Learning Environments.
