Vicki James

Vicki James veteran of successful project management and business analysis in both public and private industries, which include a 11-year term in governmental operations. She is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP), a certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP), a certified PMI Professional in Business Analysis (PMI-PBA), and a Certified Scrum Master (CSM). Vicki has taken her skills to public and private organizations to support both Agile and traditional Waterfall type projects. For Vicki, organizational value is achieved through successful project management and business analysis. Vicki is most excited about the most recent change in her professional status as a full-time Manager, Scrum Master for Capital One.

Vicki does more than consult; she presented at five Project Management Institute North American Global Congresses and at numerous regional and local meetings. She is a contributor to The Complete Project Manager by Randall Englund and Alfonso Bucero. She co-authored Strategies for Project Sponsorship with Peter Taylor and Ron Rosenhead and has recently published Leveraging Business Analysis for Project Success.  Vicki dedicates herself in staying current with industry trends and best practices to succeed in her work.
