Dirk VanderVoort

Dirk VanderVoort, IT People Manager, Certified Scrum Master, and Agile Coach at Commerce Bank in Kansas City, Missouri greatly enjoys the success and dynamics of IT in the scrum world! Dirk started his career over 20 years ago with the Air Force in Secure Communications and IT Network Administration and has been involved in the progression of Information Technology and IT Project Management ever since. Credentials include an MBA from Baker, BS in Information Systems from University of MD, Certified Scrum Master, licenses in P&C, Health and Life and has completed the requirements for his CSP Certification. He has served as an IT Project Manager with such companies as EDS Corp. (HP), JP Morgan, General Dynamics, Bank of America, and currently with Commerce Bank. Dirk has enjoyed his roles as People Resource Manager, Project Manager and Scrum Master. He futher advanced his skills as Scrum Master while at pioneering Scrum Teams with Scrum Methodologies as Scrum Master with the Commercial Online Banking Teams at Commerce Bank. Dirk was born and raised on the east coast and has embraced cultures from his career travels around the world while currently residing in the Kansas City area. He enjoys work-life balance in the outdoors, is fond of the Midwest lifestyle and loves vacation activities by the sea. He has an inclusive leadership style which provides diversified vision, and an on-going career record of success. Dirk will continue his career in IT Program Management and Scrum Coaching.
