How to Pay for Students on Courses
Getting Started
- Login at: https://www.scrumalliance.org/login
- Enter username and password.
- Click the LOGIN button.
- Click the dashboard link at the top of the screen on the right-hand side.
- Navigate to the Courses tab on the left-hand side of your dashboard home screen.
- Find your course listings at the bottom of the page.
- Find the course for which you'd like to add students, and click the $ icon.
Payment Process
- You will be taken to a checkout screen. Verify that the number of students is correct.
- Click the "Make Payment" link at the bottom of the screen.
- Follow the payment instructions provided.
- You can either pay via a PayPal account or use a credit card.
- If you have trouble making a payment, there are a couple of reasons:
- The payment link does not officially support international characters. See the instructions below to help troubleshoot any issues.
- Some credit card companies will flag trainer payments and reject the payments due to various reasons, such as a change in location of payment,large-dollarr transactions, and so forth. Typically, if you call your credit card issuer and confirm the transaction, the payment will be processed.
- If you are not sure of the reason for the decline, please contact [email protected]. Reports can tell us whether it is a data mismatch or a bank issue.
- Once payment is made, the student activation process will begin. Once complete, students will receive their welcome emails. This could take several minutes to process, based on the size of our membership database and the checks that must occur. If it takes more than an hour, please contact [email protected] and we will check for any processing issues.
The payment link does not officially support international characters.
What does this mean for you as a ScrumAlliance member?
When you click on "MakePayment" below and are sent to the site to complete your payment, you should avoid any characters that are not simple letters and numbers. No accented characters(á, ç, ü); no spaces, dashes(‐), or other punctuation in credit card numbers or security codes; no parentheses(), brackets[], braces{}, ampersands&, etc., in any field except for @ in an email address. If you encounter problems with the PayPal form, double-check that you have not included any of these characters that may not be handled properly by PayPal.
