What is this course about?

This course provides practical skills for existing or aspiring Scrum Product Owners. The Scrum Product Owner's role is pivotal to confirming delivery of value “early and often” to the customer, and continuous improvement in an organization’s application of Agile methods. You learn how to ensure that the Scrum Framework and Product Backlog can be leveraged to develop value-driven software.

All CSPO courses are taught by Certified Scrum Trainers. Taking a CSPO course and accepting the license agreement designates you as a Certified Scrum Product Owner, which indicates that you have been introduced to and understand the basic concepts you need to perform as a Scrum Product Owner. This course also satisfies two elements of the Scrum Alliance CSD track: Scrum Introduction and Elective.  To complete the CSD certification you will need to take an approved technical course, such as Accelerating Agile Development for Scrum Teams or Agile Test Driven Development.
